“A chef who includes River Café and Chez Panisse on her C.V, Hofman’s cooking is governed by seasonal and local produce”
The Good Food Guide, 2009

Of course, we can’t buy everything British so things like lemons and olive oil normally come from Italy, Spain or Portugal and we will never buy air freighted goods that come to us out of season, like apples from New Zealand when home grown stocks have run out.
That’s why our menus change with the seasons so if there is an event you are planning way ahead, give us a call and we’ll give you a delicious menu.
Why should we eat seasonally? Eating like this is so much more enjoyable, not only is seasonal food better value, as it doesn’t have to travel the globe to reach us but it is so much fresher so bound to be tastier and better for you. It‘s a no brainer!
Colour, vibrancy, flavour, excitement and variety: these are all the things our customers tell us they love, time and time again.
